Men of League Golf Day

A number of Rugby League's greats will take to the greens at Royal Pines Resort tomorrow, Friday 9 May, for the 2008 Men of League Corporate Golf Day.

130 participants will attend the charity golf day with public and corporate players joined by a number of former league superstars including Wendell Sailor, Michael O'Connor, Mark Graham and Gary Belcher.

The combination of seasoned and rookie golfers will create an interesting day of play culminating with presentation cocktails in Tees' Clubhouse and dinner held in the Resort's Marquis Room.

The primary objective of the Men of League is to support past players, coaches, administrators, referees, officials and their families who have fallen on hard times.

Funds raised for the organisation will assist in providing much needed support for medical operations, rehabilitation equipment, nursing home equipment, counselling and social contact.
